What people are saying about Jakki Green at Kakariki Landscape Design
We have been really impressed with Kakariki Landscape Design and would highly recommend Jakki to anybody. Jakki took the time to understand what we wanted and showed us how to get it. She gave us lots of options and talked through each one thoroughly so it really helped us to clarify what we wanted in our new garden design. Jakki understood our budget and what was realistic. She has an extensive knowledge of plants and how to design a garden that fits the site and also our style. We are really happy with the end result.
Kakariki Design was recommended to me by a friend. The garden at the front of my house was a mass of weeds and unhappy plants. It needed a makeover. Jakki took the time to examine the site carefully, and discuss what I would like – taking care to advise me as to what would work and what may not, and suggesting new plants that I may not have considered. I was presented with a meticulously prepared visual planting plan, complete with local stockists and a care guide for the plants. I’ve had the fun of buying the plants, putting them in as per the plan, and can’t believe the transformation. Many people walking past have commented on how nice the garden is looking – that’s never happened before. I highly recommend Jakki for her thorough professional approach, excellent communication (we kept in regular contact) and extensive plant knowledge. I intend to develop the back garden next, and will be calling on her again.
In 2015 we gave Jakki the brief of designing a new planting plan for our front garden. The previous owner had planted the garden with English plants and we had gradually replaced those with NZ natives, but we struggled to get the look that we wanted, so we asked Jakki to help. We were particularly impressed by her exceptional ability to create a planting plan that complied with all our requirements, giving us exactly what we had hoped for. We would not hesitate to recommend Jakki. We definitely intend to employ her again to design the next part of our garden.
